Finally, please also be aware that the consultation period in relation to the Review around SEND provision in the City is approaching. There is a really useful summary report of the SEND findings in the City at www.southampton.gov.uk/localoffer . It is a really important issue and therefore, it would be massively appreciated if you could get involved with the consultation and put your views across, once the proposals are available and fully formed.

 

Southampton Inclusion Partnership

 The school is an integral part of the Southampton Inclusion Partnership (SIP) and works in collaboration with a range of schools and organisations that deeply care about Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND)and promote inclusion.
Achieving Teaching School designation in February 2015, Southampton Inclusion Partnership (SIP) is now on one of 691 Teaching Schools in England, 79 of these are Special School teaching schools.
Our local partnership comprises six Special Schools and a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU).
Winchester University and Southampton City Council alongside other local mainstream primary and secondary partners from part of our wider alliance to further support our work.
