Hello from Cedar Weekly Emails

Hello from Cedar

.. and so another busy Cedar half-term comes to a close today.  We hope that everyone has a peaceful half-term break.  We will look forward to welcoming  the children back at the usual time on Monday 19th February.

Talking about welcoming everybody to school, those of you who have visited school in recent days may have noticed that road junction improvement work began this week at the junctions of Redbridge Lane, Romsey Road and Bakers Drove just outside school.  Our understanding is that this work will last for several months with the high possibility of traffic delays/queues especially at busy times of day.  I simply want to alert you to this in case you are driving to school at any stage in the coming weeks and may want to allow extra time for your journey.

This week we have focused on Safer Internet Day which fell on Tuesday.  In assemblies and lessons, we have explored with children how to use technology safely and the importance of always staying safe online.  Please do contact your child's class teacher if you would ever like any further advice or guidance around this for your child.

Once again - this email comes with my warmest wishes for a well-deserved half-term break for the children who have, as always, been total stars this half-term!

See you all on the 19th!

Take care,
Neil, Cesia and the whole Cedar team
