We hope that the children enjoyed a good half-term holiday and that the return to school has gone well this week.

It was really lovely to see so many of you on Tuesday at our Creative Arts afternoon.  Thank you for coming along and for joining in with the Art activities!  It was a productive and relaxed afternoon which everybody seemed to enjoy!

Class Learning Letters
Your child's Class Learning Letter  for this half-term will be sent home early next week, either in paper format or attached to an email please do keep a look out for this!  This important letter gives information about your child's learning and ways that you might choose to develop this learning at home.  Thank you, as always, for your support.

World Book Day - Children Can Come To School Dressed In Their Pyjamas! - Friday 7th March
We will be celebrating World Book Day a week from today on Friday 7th March.  The official day is earlier in the week but we thought that a Friday would be a good day to mark this event in our school.  This year, we are inviting children to embrace the magic of storytelling by coming to school dressed in their pyjamas for a cosy and creative day of literary fun!  Please check the email from Katy Leonard, sent out by Karen Collins on 24th February, for full details!

Staffing Update
On Tuesday we welcomed Shannon-Leigh McFadden to our Site and Cleaning Team.  We hope that you will be very happy here at Cedar, Shannon.

Cedar Summer Fair - Saturday 28th June
I know that it is a long time ahead ... but our amazing Fundraising Committee has set a date for this year's Cedar Summer Fair.  The fair will be held on Saturday 28th June between 11am and 2pm.  Further details will follow nearer the time and we very much hope that the weather will be on our side this year  !  We thought that it might be helpful for you to have the date at this stage!  Everyone is invited!
