Break Up For Summer Holiday

Wednesday 2nd July: Outdoor Learning Afternoon
Parents/carers are invited to join us between 1.30pm and 2.30pm on this day.  We will have some learning activities for the children, all taking place outdoors, and it would be lovely if you are able to join in.  The occasion will be informal but we thought that it would provide another opportunity for you to share in your child's learning.  We are hoping that it will be a dry day!

Message from the Cedar Fundraising Team
Thanks to the fundraising efforts at the Christmas Extravaganza, the fantastic donations from the Cedar Bikers Ride-In's at Christmas and Easter, and donations from Xelabus Ltd, the Freemasons, Durabilis Ltd and ASDA Cashpot, the Physio Department is about to take delivery of a set of corner rehabilitation steps costing £1,185.

Our future fundraising missions include:

  • Replacing the physio exercise bikes x 2 (primary and secondary size)
  • Purchasing a disability bicycle for outside use
  • Potentially upgrading the school's minibus!

We are excitedly planning for our Summer Fayre on Saturday 28th June (please see attached flyer).  The Cedar Bikers will again ride-in at 11.30am, showing their support to the school.

We will be holding a non-uniform day on Wednesday 18th June, and would kindly ask for either a donation for the bottle stall, a raffle prize, or a £2.00 donation to purchase further prizes.

External stallholders - If you know of anyone that might like a stall to sell their goodies at our fayre, please could they email karenbooth@cedarschool. co.uk.

Thank you everybody!

We hope that the children enjoy their break next week and we look forward to seeing you all again on Monday 2nd June!

Best wishes,
Neil, Cesia and the whole Cedar Team
