Hello from Cedar Weekly Emails

Hello from Cedar

As November marches on, it is wonderful to see our children and young people deeply engaged in their learning and showing such care and support for one another throughout the school.

Thank you to everyone who was able to support the Fundraising Team's Bingo Event last Friday evening.  A grand total of £478.75 was raised. Details of the Fundraising Team's next event - The Cedar Bikers Christmas Ride In - are below.

Cedar Bikers Christmas Ride In: Saturday 29th November
The wonderful Cedar Bikers are due to arrive at Cedar just before 11am, making their impressive entrance, and delivering Christmas chocolates for the children.
The Fundraising Team will be serving hot drinks and light refreshments in the reception area.
The Bikers are always so generous in making donations to the school, so please come and give them a warm welcome cheer and clap if you are able!

Sad News from Great Oaks School
As a school community we have been very saddened this week to learn of the death of Andy Evans who was the Executive Headteacher at Great Oaks School.  A number of us have been privileged to work with Andy over the years; special schools across the city work closely together.  As a school, we send our love and condolences to Andy's family and to the Great Oaks School community.
