Can you believe that it will be December when we return on Monday?!
December is a very busy month in the school diary so please do keep an eye on all of the events which are listed in the 'Dates For This Half-Term' section at the end of this email.
Neil's Early Retirement
Monday marks the start of my (Neil's) final three weeks at Cedar. I am reflecting a lot about my time at Cedar at the moment. It has truly been a privilege to serve as Headteacher of this wonderful school and to get to know each and every one of you. I am grateful for the everyday moments, for the challenges that we have worked through together and for the many successes which we have shared. Thank you to each and every one of you for your kindness, support and commitment - these have meant a great deal to me. I am looking forward to all that lies ahead in December.
Cedar Bikers Christmas Ride In: TOMORROW: Saturday 29th November
The wonderful Cedar Bikers are due to arrive at Cedar just before 11am tomorrow, making their impressive entrance, and delivering Christmas chocolates for the children. The Fundraising Team, led by Emma Collins with Karen Booth and Sue Carter, will be hosting. The Fundraising Team will be serving hot drinks and light refreshments in the reception area. The Bikers are always so generous in making donations to the school, so please come and give them a warm welcome cheer and clap if you are able!
Non-Uniform Day: Friday 5th December
Next Friday (5th December) will be a non-uniform day when children can wear their choice of clothes, dress down or dress fancy for the day. All contributions of prizes for the raffle which will be happening at the Christmas Extravaganza ... or donations up to £2 ... are welcome. Please send donations into the office or to your child’s class team. Thank you very much.
